The annual pass entitles you to free admission to Naumburg Cathedral for one year from the date of purchase and additionally to a 10% discount on single admission tickets for two further persons when visiting Naumburg Cathedral, on a single admission ticket for Merseburg Cathedral including the Cathedral Treasure, on guided tours incl. special tours of Naumburg and Merseburg Cathedral and the Zeitz Chapter Library, on project costs of the Naumburg KinderDomBauhütte and the KinderDomusMerseburch as well as on concert prices of the Naumburg Cathedral Choir for concerts in Naumburg Cathedral and its adjacent chapels.

Chapel of St Giles

Visits to the Chapel of St Giles must be requested in advance from the visitor centre.

Just 40 minutes away by car, the 1,000-year-old Imperial Cathedral of Merseburg with its Romantic-era Ladegast organ is truly worth the visit. The Cathedral-Castle complex set idyllically on the banks of the river Saale, with its impressive treasury and chapter house garden, was a favourite location of German kings and queens and remains a well-kept secret.

Naumburg Cathedral is owned by the Vereinigten Domstifter zu Merseburg und Naumburg und des Kollegiatstifts Zeitz, a not-for-profit foundation under public law. It does not benefit from church tax income. The income we receive is used to maintain the church buildings and preserve works of art.
