Uta meets Nina

In his artistic work, the photographer Jürgen Sieker dealt with intensive portrait studies of numerous sculptures from different cultural circles, but also with famous personalities from politics and society. For the project Uta meets Nina , surprising photographic juxtapositions are created. The artworks of the Naumburg Master and other works of world sculpture enter into a fascinating dialogue with the face studies of the celebrities.
Impression and devotion: A dedication to Max Klinger

The sculptor, painter and graphic artist Max Klinger was and still is a strong and inscrutable artistic personality. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his death, the Saxony-Anhalt Arts Foundation, in cooperation with the Villa Romana in Florence, initiated the project Impression and devotion: a dedication to Max Klinger. The artistic examination of Klinger's work by four contemporary artists will now be exhibited in Naumburg Cathedral.
