Naumburg theatre walk in Naumburg Cathedral: "In the footsteps of Jesus Christ"

Following on from Handel's scenic oratorio "SUSANNA", we would once again like to stage the world cultural heritage with theatrical and musical means. But instead of a large-scale musical theatre production, we will follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.

Imagine Jesus Christ coming back to earth. He meets a climate activist, a pacifist and a politician and inevitably gets caught up in all the debates that affect us here and now. How does Jesus Christ behave? What happens to him? In our theatrical experimental set-up, Jesus is also arrested and comes before an examining magistrate who, like Pontius Pilate, doesn't quite know what to do...

Experience Naumburg Cathedral with its two rood screens, nave and crypt in a completely different way. Be our guest when the world cultural heritage site resounds with the words of Jesus, bringing together chamber choir and theatre.
