On this year's Good Friday, a special work by the famous piano virtuoso and composer, Franz Liszt's "VIA CRUCIS", will be performed in Naumburg Cathedral. As part of the traditional musical devotion to the hour of Jesus' death, the Naumburg Cathedral Choir will perform Christ's Way of the Cross to Golgotha in the touching and very simple musical language of the great Romantic composer Liszt. The choir is accompanied only by the organ. The words of the condemned Christ, led to his execution on Golgotha, are sung by a baritone voice.
