Garden Dreams Picnic Day

Throughout Saxony-Anhalt, we meet up for a cosy picnic. The "Gartenträume" network is opening its parks and gardens to all guests, and the Naumburg Cathedral Garden will also be transformed into a large picnic meadow. We look forward to many "splashes of colour" and cordially invite you to visit our garden with your picnic blankets, picnic baskets and treats.

A colorful program of guided tours awaits you all day: learn more about the cathedral garden in the special guided tour "It's so green" (11:30 a.m., 5 euros) or enjoy the special guided tour "Towers, stairs and bells"(1 p.m., 5 euros) the view over the Saale-Unstrut valley. 

Your physical well-being will also be catered for on site. The Café CURT transforms the cathedral garden into a cosy café setting and provides you with drinks and handmade specialities.

In addition, the KinderDomBauhütte opens its doors to all guests and invites them to take part in many hands-on activities. A colourful programme is planned between 11 am and 6 pm - with a raffle (€1 per ticket), a giant paint-by-numbers canvas (free of charge) and a craft street where you can paint flower plugs (material costs €3). The KinderDomBauhütte will also be selling self-designed glass pendants and limited and unique glass products for the summer, such as decorative garden plugs.
