Motet in Naumburg Cathedral

The project choir of a German-Polish singing week of the Protestant Church in Central Germany is invited to the first event of the new motet series in Naumburg Cathedral. The short concert will take place in a liturgical setting according to a vespers order. Thus, the special atmosphere of the cathedral in combination with the unique and unmistakable sound of the church interior can be experienced.

The programme includes choral music by Telemann, Reger and Rheinberger, among others. The composition "Lux aurumque" by the contemporary US-American Eric Whitacre promises a special sound experience.
