Always on the Saturday after Ascension Day, the numerous buildings on the "Romanesque Road" invite you to tours and activities. The Ägidien Chapel opposite the north side of Naumburg Cathedral is a very special treasure with its clear Romanesque architectural style, which you can get to know in a special guided tour. We will explain the strange-looking exterior architecture and the preserved tympanum of the former Romanesque entrance portal. Inside you can admire the domed chapel room, which has remains of an old painting.
