How do you photograph the twelve donor statues of Naumburg Cathedral at the lofty height of the West Choir? Which personalities from politics and culture only wanted to be photographed from a certain angle? And which prominent personality would Jürgen Sieker also have chosen as the photographic counterpart of the "most beautiful woman of the Middle Ages"? In the special exhibition Uta meets Nina world-famous works of art are confronted with celebrities such as Nina Hagen, Henry Maske or Mikhail Gorbachev. People and works of art enter into a unique dialogue.
Learn more about the stories behind the photographs. On selected evenings the artist Jürgen Sieker invites you to a tour of the exhibition and tells you about his work with his famous photo objects.
