Special guided tour "Sinnes-Wandel(n) Romanik - Flashlight tour in Naumburg Cathedral".

Please note that this guided tour is in German only. Through light and dark, sound and silence, hot and cold, we lead you back into the Romanesque period. Once the doors of the cathedral have shut, descend with us down into the candle-lit crypt and marvel at the Romanesque crucifix which has stood witness since the time the cathedral was first built in 1170. Accompanied by the sounds of liturgy from times past and lit only by torches the tour leads on to the East Choir. Through the normally-closed choir screen doors you enter the main body of the cathedral whose size looks even more impressive in the sparse light. Experience the impressive Romanesque ornamentation and revel in many details that go unnoticed during the true light of day.
