Costume tour above the roofs of Naumburg Cathedral

The last cathedral doorman Karl Schenke (1851-1939) takes you up to his airy workplace. He explains in his charming way which tasks he held at the Naumburg Cathedral, how he lived and lived. Along the way, you will reach the historic roof truss, climb the north-west tower, learn from Karl Schenke about the ringing of the bells of Naumburg Cathedral and, last but not least, enjoy a wonderful view over the city of Naumburg and the surrounding area. 

Due to the current regulations to contain the Corona pandemic, there are unfortunately only a limited number of visitors who are allowed to take part in the tour. Please buy a ticket in time via our Online shop or contact us via our visitor centre every Friday at 6.30 pm from the end of June to the end of October.
