Valentine's Day in Naumburg Cathedral

Naumburg Cathedral is showing its romantic side for Valentine's Day. With a special guided tour of the cathedral and a creative programme in the KinderDomBauhütte, the cathedral is all about love.

In the special guided tour "Whispers of love on Valentine's Day" from 4 to 5 pm, we will take you to very special places where true love stories have taken place. And of course there will also be whispers of love to tell about the donor figures. The stories of various works of art and personalities - such as the St John's Bowl in the cathedral treasury vault and the life of St Elizabeth - also vividly illustrate the tension between the spiritual and secular understanding of the term "love". The tour is accompanied by a glass of wine.

After the tour, you can get creative in the KinderDomBauhütte from 5 to 6 pm and make a piece of glass. In keeping with the Day of Love, small hearts are made from two glass drops, which you can take home with you.

Both offers together cost €25. It is also possible to book the special tour and the creative project separately - then you pay €15 each.

You can purchase a ticket for the special tour and the combined offer in advance via our Online shop purchase. If you would like to book the creative offer individually in advance, please contact us via our visitor centre every Friday at 6.30 pm from the end of June to the end of October.
