The traditional Kirschfest concert of the Naumburg Cathedral Choir will take place this year on Kirschfest Sunday, 30 June 2024, at 5 pm. The Psycho-Choir of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena will be performing under the direction of Maximilian Lörzer. Choral music and arrangements from various centuries will be performed.

We Psycho choir of the FSU Jena is a young and modern a cappella ensemble at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. It was founded in 2011 by Maximilian Lörzer, then a music student at the Institute of Psychology. The concerts under the name "Psycho-Chor" took place in 2012, since then it has established itself as a brand name in the German choral landscape. In 2015, the Psycho-Chor Jena produced its first own CD, followed by three more. Every semester, the Psycho-Chor rehearses a new programme, which is presented at the end of the semester in various concerts in and around Jena and beyond. In March 2018, the Psycho-Choir sang in front of an audience of 2,800 on a trip to New York at the Lincoln Center and was also invited by the German Consul General in New York to perform at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in front of numerous members of the UN Parliament.
