Special Guided Tour “Outstanding flora of the Naumburg Master”

We take you to our green oasis. Our almost one hectare large, picturesquely designed cathedral garden shows you a completely different perspective on the works of art of the Naumburg Master. For it is here that the diverse flora of the Saale-Unstrut region flourishes. The medieval sculptors took the plants as inspiration for the elaborately designed capitals, friezes and cap stones in the cathedral. We explain how the gardens have been used over the centuries and let the interplay of art and nature take effect on us.

Due to the current regulations for the containment of the Corona pandemic, there is unfortunately only a limited number of visitors who are allowed to take part in the tour.
